Motorola has confirmed the launch of the razr 50 smartphone in India, following the July launch of the razr 50 ultra. This device will feature the largest external display in the segment, measuring 3.6 inches.
According to the company, the phone has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the external screen, IPX8 water resistance ratings, and a hinge that has been certified for 4 lakh folds.
Its 3.6-inch FHD+ outer pOLED 90Hz screen has 1700 nits of peak brightness. Google’s Gemini can now be accessed directly from razr devices’ external displays. It features vegan leather finish and a desk mode.
The new Motorola Razr 50 will land in India on Sept 9 and will be exclusive to Amazon.

The Motorola RAZR 50 comes with a 6.9-inch POLED HDR display with a resolution of 2640×1080 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate support & Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. Motorola RAZR 50 also includes a secondary screen of 3.63” (194×368 pixels) POLED display which is perfect for showing notifications.
The new Motorola RAZR 50 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300x SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. The new Motorola RAZR 50 features a 50MP outer main camera with an aperture of f/1.88 with OIS coupled with a 13MP SK Hynix Hi1336 ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. There is a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.
The device comes with Dual SIM support with 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, WLAN, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and IP52 certification. The Motorola RAZR 50 5G packs a lower 4200 mAh battery with a 30W fast wired & 15W wireless charging. Motorola RAZR 50 runs on Android 14 OS.
