In the world of smartphones, Realme was the first brand to showcase 150W and 240W fast charging technologies. According to recent reports, the brand now uses rapid charging technology of 300W. A new milestone in fast charging technology will be revealed at an event on Aug. 14 in China, the brand confirmed today.

During its annual 828 Fan Festival on August 14, 2024, at the Realme headquarters in Shenzhen, China, realme will reveal the world’s Fastest Charging Technology.

As a result, realme said, new standards will be set for smartphone charging and other advanced technologies. This achievement will also be powered by four proprietary innovations, according to the company.

According to the company, these technologies lead the world in charging power, battery technology, converter size, and power reduction design. During the event, attendees will also get a glimpse at Realme’s latest cutting-edge technologies under development. This aims to redefine the smartphone experience with AI, performance, and imaging.

Realme Global Head of Marketing Francis Wong revealed in an interview in June that the company is testing 300W rapid charging technology.

As of now, it is unclear which of the upcoming Realme phones will support 300W fast charging. The brand is expected to launch the Realme 13 and 13 Pro series of smartphones in China this month. It will unveil the Realme GT 7 Pro, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, at the end of this year. Despite this, it may not be able to charge at 300W.

Realme’s 300W fast charging technology will be announced next week, but we may not see a Realme phone supporting it for a couple of months.
