An image of the Realme GT 7 Pro has appeared on Weibo. The Realme GT 5 Pro, which debuted in December 2023, featured a massive round camera module. A mock render of the GT 7 Pro, however, will resemble the Realme GT 6 which sports a square camera island.

Design:

As reported earlier this month, Digital Chat Station shared this schematic, which exhibits the design of upcoming flagship phones.

Based on the leaked schematic, the mocker render depicts a white back panel with a prominent square-shaped camera module. The device has three cameras and an LED flash. Along its bottom left side, the “realme” branding appears vertically along the rest of the device’s back.

Specs:

DCS’ Weibo post strongly suggests that he is referring to the Realme GT7 Pro, even though he hasn’t explicitly mentioned it.  According to the post, the Realme GT7 Pro will feature the all-new BOE X2 screen, which looks flat despite having micro-curved edges on all four sides.

The Realme GT7 Pro’s screen would feature a 1.5K resolution. Assuming the BOE X2 is a better version of the BOE X1, the screen size of the Realme GT 7 Pro may be 6.78 inches, like the GT 5 Pro. IP68/69 dust and water resistance will be provided by the GT 7 Pro chassis. It will feature a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the screen for security.

Realme GT7 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The top-end variant will have 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. There was no information on the size of the battery, but the leak mentioned that it would have a high-capacity silicon battery and support 100W charging. According to the leaker, the battery may be 6,000mAh or more.  It is unclear whether wireless charging will be supported by the final device. As of now, the wireless charging feature cannot be activated on the device’s engineering prototype.

Despite having a LYT-600 3X periscope lens, the Realme GT7 Pro may lack a telephoto macro lens. The same source previously claimed that the device would support 10x hybrid zoom and 120x digital zoom. The primary camera sensor may be 50MP.

Realme GT7 Pro is expected to launch in China between October and November. It is expected to be launched globally by December, making it the first device with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
