Acer announced a new gaming laptop in India that combines powerful specs with artificial intelligence. Originally unveiled in December 2023, the Nitro V 16 AI has now been officially released in the region. While offering capable hardware, it is designed for casual gamers.
Nitro V 16 allows seamless gaming and streaming. This is achieved through the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence). Copilot, an AI tool that boosts productivity as well, is also included. Acer’s Purified Voice 2.0, which is a noise-canceling tool for clearer audio, also uses AI. Acer’s Quick Panel allows you to manage AI settings.
Specs:
On the Nitro V 16, Acer offers a 16-inch WQXGA or WUXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and 16:10 aspect ratio. It has an AMD Ryzen 8845HS processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU that supports DLSS 3.5. Memory and storage capacity are 16GB DDR5 5600MHz and 1TB SSD respectively.
This device is powered by a 59Wh battery pack, which is charged by a 135W adapter. Acer’s latest Nitro V 16 AI runs on Windows 11 Home right out of the box. There is also WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, quad intake and exhaust designs, dual speakers with DTS Ultra audio, a MUX switch, a backlit keyboard, a 2.5-kilogram weight, and a Microsoft Precision-certified touchpad.
