It is expected that Xiaomi will keep the Redmi K70 Ultra smartphone in China. The company can, however, launch its rebranded version of the Xiaomi 14T Pro smartphone in the global market as it happens. It has already been spotted in the Mi code, IMEI database, and EEC certification. In a post on X, a user named XiaomiTime tipped the phone’s camera specs.
The Xiaomi 14T Pro has a 50MP Omnivision OV50H lens, a 13MP Omnivision OV13B ultra wide-angle lens, and a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 lens on the back. It is stated that the front side boasts a Samsung S5KKD1 lens for selfies. Other features of the handset are still being kept under wraps. The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition sports a smaller 6.67 inches 1.5K (2712 x 1220p) OLED (C7) display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colours, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 2600-nits brightness. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition comes with MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. The Dimensity 9300+ is equipped with a discrete graphics chip called the D1. The display chip supports 3x interpolation up to “1.5K resolution” (read 1080p) to drive 144Hz content. During gaming, the chip reduces power consumption by nearly 15%. There is also a special 3D cooling chamber that can reduce temperature by 3°.
The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition will come with 12GB/16GB/24GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512 GB/1TB UFS 3.1 storage. PixelWorks X7 display chip is also included.
Redmi K70 Extreme Edition features a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with OIS support. It comes with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. It features a 20MP Sony IMX596 selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition packs a 5500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Xiaomi Pengpai P2 chips monitor charging, while G1 chips safeguard the battery.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 7, and USB Type-C port with X-axis linear motor. It runs on HyperOS with Android 14 OS out of the box.
