A reliable leaker, Digital Chat Station (DCS), has shared some interesting information about a new “small straight screen imaging flagship.” Although the tipster didn’t name the phone, based on the comments, it appears to be the vanilla Vivo X200.

According to the leak, the X200’s main camera will have a 50-megapixel Sony sensor, accompanied by a 3x mid-range telephoto lens. The setup is also expected to include a third lens, though its details aren’t yet known.

Additionally, the leak reveals that the phone will have a 1.5K panel from a domestic (Chinese) manufacturer and slim bezels. There is no mention of screen size or refresh rate, so those details remain unclear.

DCS’ information confirms rumours that the standard X200’s screen will be flat and smaller than the curved display expected on the Pro variant.

It is also rumoured that the device will use ARM’s latest Cortex-X925 cores as part of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor. DCS also mentions a “high-density, large-capacity silicon battery,” but provides no details as yet.

Vivo’s X200 series is expected to launch in October. As soon as new information becomes available, we will keep you informed.
