We learned last week that Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra would have the same 5,000 mAh battery capacity as its predecessor; Samsung’s competitors are now moving beyond that number.
However, we have some good news today. Ice Universe reports that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have 16GB of RAM. All storage versions of the phone will also get 16GB of RAM, just as all storage versions of the S24 Ultra did.
Samsung won’t play the Chinese game of pairing specific RAM amounts with specific storage amounts for its flagship devices. It has previously been rumoured that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have rounded corners that don’t dig into your palm as its predecessor did.
Even though it’s still more than five months away from its announcement, it’s looking like quite an exciting release in general.
According to reports, the device will have a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 3x zoom lens, and a 5x periscope telephoto lens. However, there is still uncertainty about the fourth lens and whether Samsung will increase the megapixel count for its zoom lenses over the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
According to the leak, the battery capacity and charging capabilities will remain the same. With a 45W charging speed, the S25 Ultra is rumoured to have a battery capacity of 4855mAh minimum or 5000mAh typical.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to ship with a stable version of One UI 7 based on Android 15. Additionally, a leak from last month revealed the S25 Ultra will measure 8.4mm thick compared to the S24 Ultra’s 8.6mm.
