In October, Samsung is expected to announce One UI 7. We are still unsure what to expect while getting more information about One UI 7. One UI 7 will get much inspiration from iOS 18 according to X user @chunvn, who is pretty accurate with leaks.
According to their source, this will include a more rounded icon pack, similar to macOS/visionOS icons. A rainbow-coloured flower and white background are also being added to the Gallery app icon, which is also an “iOS copycat” according to their source.
Furthermore, the notification panel will now consist of two pages. On the left side, there are only notifications, and on the right side, there are toggles. The notifications panel works the same way on iOS, Xiaomi’s Hyper OS, and even ASUS’ “Optimized” version. According to them, this will be a direct copy-paste from HyperOS.
Additionally, new lock-screen widgets will be rounded, and the quick camera settings will be moved to the bottom of the camera app.
Samsung seems to be stealing everything from Apple this year. We saw the new Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro just a few weeks ago, which now have a stem-like AirPods. Furthermore, Samsung announced a watch that looks kind of like an Apple Watch, but not quite. The next major update for the Galaxy ecosystem will incorporate several features from iOS 18.
