The leaks depicting Samsung’s new One UI 7 overlay and its features have been flooding in recent weeks. Today, Samsung is expected to announce its Android 15 beta program for the S24 series and other Galaxy phones.

According to multiple sources, Samsung will need to iron out some other updates before rolling out One UI 7 to its phones, so the update has been delayed.

This won’t be the first time Samsung has postponed a major Android and One UI beta update schedule to polish stable updates first. We’ll know as soon as Monday fades away. Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 version that came with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 might be the problem this time around.

Android 15 with One UI 7 is a major release, but One UI 6.1.1 is not a major upgrade. In addition to adding more Galaxy AI features to older phones, Samsung has also normalized audio volume.

Samsung fans will also need some time to get used to One UI 7, which brings not just new features under the hood but also a brand-new visual overhaul.
