Samsung also released the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra to expand its smart wearable lineup.

Ultra comes in one size, 47mm, while Galaxy Watch7 comes in 40mm and 44mm. There is no Classic model this year since none of the watches have a rotating bezel.

Galaxy Watch Ultra:

It has a lot in common with the Apple Watch Ultra series, starting with the way it looks. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is Samsung’s answer to it. With its cushion design, it’s a more robust-looking timepiece. Watch face and bezel are circled in a rectangle. The Galaxy Watch Ultra has three buttons on the side, the middle of which is a Quick Button.

The new Galaxy Watch Ultra will arrive in a single variant one with 47mm. The new Galaxy Watch Ultra 47mm sports the larger 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x480p along with Sapphire glass on top. The device is made out of a Titanium case and brings 3000 nits of peak brightness.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is powered by the same Exynos W1000 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. With a 10ATM rating, IP68 certification, and MIL-STD-810H certification, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is a true beast of a watch. Moreover, it can survive at temperatures between +55° and -20° as high as 9000 meters above sea level and as low as -500 meters below it. Furthermore, Samsung’s new watch offers dual-frequency GPS for more precise tracking, even in dense urban areas.

In addition to AI-enhanced tracking algorithms, the Galaxy Watch Ultra features an enhanced BioActive Sensor. With a new Sleep Apnea support, you can check if you have the condition based on abnormally high or low heart rates during sleep. In terms of heart rate, the new watches can detect irregular rhythms that may indicate atrial fibrillation. We still have the ECG and blood pressure monitoring, as well as the skin temperature sensor.

The device packs a 590mAh battery with 15W fast charge support. The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes in three colours Titanium Gray, Titanium Silver and Titanium White.

The connectivity options include 4G, NFC, Wifi, and Bluetooth 5.3 support.

FTP index tracking is also available on the Watch Ultra. Basically, it measures your maximum cycling power. The new Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 can monitor your blood sugar levels with advanced glycation tracking. To determine your metabolic health, they give you an AGE index – a biological ageing process index.

Samsung Galaxy Watch7:

The new Galaxy Watch7 will arrive in two variants one with 40mm & other with 44mm. The new Galaxy Watch7  40mm sports a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 432 x 432p & Sapphire glass on top. The 44mm sports the larger 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x480p along with Sapphire glass on top. The device is made out of Aluminium and gives you a premium feel.

The Galaxy Watch7 is powered by the same Exynos W100 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It matches the Galaxy Watch Ultra’s MIL-STD-810H along with a 5ATM + IP68 rating, but can’t climb tall mountains or go deep diving.

The Galaxy Watch7 also gets better sleep measurement which measures your sleep more accurately than its predecessor.  The device runs on WearOS powered by Samsung. The connectivity options include 4G, NFC, Wifi, and Bluetooth 5.3 support. It also features BioActive sensors for measuring temperature and heart rate.
