Galaxy Ring could shake up the fitness tracker market when Samsung unveils it at Samsung Unpacked on July 10, 2024. There have already been tidbits of information about the Ring’s features leaked, such as what it looks like. Here’s a look at some of the Samsung Health app features that the Galaxy Ring will enable.
We have activated several Galaxy Ring-centric health features in the latest Samsung Health app. The Galaxy Ring will first be able to measure heart rate and stress, and here is how the UX will look.
In addition, the Galaxy Ring will be able to measure skin temperature and predict periods. With the Galaxy Ring, you can also detect snores, though you’ll need your phone as a companion, just like with the Galaxy Watch.
Your phone must be nearby and charging to track your snores through Samsung Health, and you must allow Samsung Health to record audio through your phone. With the Galaxy Watch, you can record your snoring and heavy breathing, but it plays a smaller role in this process. The Galaxy Ring should work similarly to the Galaxy Watch.
