At its online event, Xiaomi announced the Redmi Pad SE 4G, the company’s latest tablet, as promised after the first Redmi Pad SE was introduced earlier this year. As promised, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Pad Pro and Redmi Pad Pro 5G tablets in India.

Redmi Pad SE 4G:

Xiaomi’s new Redmi Pad SE 4G comes with an 8.7-inch LCD panel that supports 1340 × 800 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 90Hz. It features a brightness of 400 nits and a 10-bit colour depth. Additionally, the screen has a contrast ratio of 1500:1, 10-bit colours, DC dimming, low blue light certification from TUV Rheinland, and flicker-free operation.

It is powered by the Helio G85 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128 GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory. There is an 8MP camera on the back with autofocus & 5MP selfie shooter.

 

The tab packs a 6650 mAh battery on the Redmi Pad SE 4G, which should last for at least a day. The device comes with 10W charging support. It weighs 370 grams and is 8.8 millimetres thick. Redmi Pad SE 8.7 also gets Dual SIM 4G, VoLTE, dual-frequency Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and Bluetooth 5.3.
The audio is played back by four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers. Android 14 is used in the tablet version with a HyperOS interface. Face unlock will be supported instead of a fingerprint scanner on the Redmi Pad SE 4G. Other features will include a virtual ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a hall sensor, and support for the Redmi Stylus for Pad.
The Redmi Pad SE 4G comes in Forest Green, Ocean Blue and Urban Grey colors.

Redmi Pad Pro & Pad Pro 5G:

Xiaomi’s new Redmi Pad Pro comes with a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD panel that supports 2560 × 1600 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display features a brightness of 600nits and  Dolby Vision support. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, fabricated by TSMC on a 4-nanometer scale. The device comes with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory.

There is an 8MP camera on the back with autofocus and another with an 8MP Selfie camera on the front. The device weighs 571 grams and is 7.52 millimetres thick. The Redmi Pad Pro comes with a massive 10,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charge support.

The audio is played back by four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers. The Redmi Pad Pro comes with Android 14 OS with HyperOS on top. The connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C 2.0.

Pricing:

Redmi Pad SE 4G costs Rs.10,999/- for 4GB/64GB & Rs.11,999/- for 4GB/128GB in India. The Remi Pad SE 4G cover that doubles up as a quick stand costs Rs. 999. From August 8th, the tablet will be available on Flipkart, mi.com, and Xiaomi Retail.

With a price of 21,999, the Redmi Pad Pro is available in either Mist Blue or Graphite Grey.

In Quick Silver and Graphite Grey colours, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G costs Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model.

The Redmi Smart Pen costs Rs. 3,999, the Redmi Pad Pro Keyboard costs Rs. 3,999, and the Redmi Pad Pro Cover costs Rs. 1499.

On August 2nd, the tablets will be available on mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon.in, and Xiaomi Retail.
