According to reports, Oppo is working on the Find X8 series of smartphones. The lineup may include three models, such as the Find X8, X8 Pro, and X8 Ultra. The Ultra variant may go official in January 2025, while the X8 and X8 Pro are expected to launch in October or November. The Find X8 Pro flagship was leaked today by tipster Digital Chat Station.

The Find X8 and X8 Pro are rumored to feature the Dimensity 9400 chipset while the Find X8 Ultra may feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Weibo post does not mention the device’s name, but it appears to be the Find X8 Pro.

According to the leak, the Pro variant of the Find X8 will have a comparatively large display and support 1.5K resolution. The X8 is expected to feature a flat display, while the Pro variant is expected to feature a curved screen.

Additionally, one-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensors are reportedly integrated into the screen of the X8 Pro. A large silicon battery will provide power.

There will be two periscope telephoto cameras in the back of the Find X8 Pro. The current engineering prototype of the device has a LYT-808 lens, which appears to be the primary camera. There is a Sony IMX882 (LYT-600) camera sensor in one of the periscope units.  Additionally, the X8 Pro will be dust and water-resistant to IP68/69.
