The Oppo K12x 5G was just launched in India and has little in common with the Chinese model. With a slightly different footprint, the new arrival borrows the design of the Oppo K12. It has a MediaTek chipset and new cameras, and it passed the MIL-STD-810H shock-resistance test.

The Oppo K12x 5G will sport a 6.67″ HD+ (1604 x 720p) LCD flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner & HDR10 support. Oppo K12x has the Dimensity 6300 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB LPDDRX4 RAM and 256GB/128GBGB UFS 2.2 internal storage space. It also gets a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Oppo K12x 5G will feature dual-rear cameras with a 32MP (f/1.8) GC32E2 main sensor coupled with dual 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensors with LED flash. There is an 8MP (f/2.5) selfie shooter on the front.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G, 5G, and VoLTE support. It comes with Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NavIC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res support, FM Radio, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1.
With IP54 certification, the phone is dust- and water-resistant. Oppo Labs tested its military-grade durability by dropping it on a marble floor from 1.4 meters on all sides.
All this is backed by a 5500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It runs on Android 14 OS based on ColorOS 14 on top. The phone is also impressively thin – just 7.68 mm, with a slight camera bump on top. All sides of its body are covered in plastic and it weighs 186 grams. The device comes in Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet.

OPPO K12x with 6GB/128GB costs Rs.12,999/- whereas the 8GB/256GB at Rs.15,999/- in India. Starting August 2nd, it will be available on Flipkart, OPPO India’s online store, and in their offline stores.
