Digital Chat Station posted a rumor about the OnePlus 13 on Weibo. According to DCS, the phone will be IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance, which is quite an improvement over the IP65 rating of the OnePlus 12.
This is what the IP code has to say about that second digit (which refers to water ingress). It is protected against water jets if it is a 5, like in the OnePlus 12. It’ll be able to be submerged in 1 to 3 meters of water for a duration of more than 30 minutes if the phone is an 8.
With a 9 rating, the OnePlus 13 will be protected from powerful high-temperature water jets.
The OnePlus 13 will be classified as dust-tight, not allowing any dust ingress (the first digit), like the OnePlus 12. Next, the device should come with a micro-curved screen, a battery of about 6,000 mAh, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus 13 will feature all Sony Lytia sensors. There will be two Sony LYT600 sensors for the second and third cameras, as well as an LYT808 sensor for the primary camera.
According to previous leaks, the OnePlus 13 could have a 50MP primary camera. It has also been suggested that the OnePlus 13 could feature a Sony IMX882 ultra-wide angle lens. Along with a Sony IMX882 3x periscope sensor.
