CMF is a breath of fresh air among OEMs that limit customizations to software. A new budget smartphone from the company will feature custom back panels and accessories. CMF Watch Pro 2 will offer something similar on its second-generation smartwatch.
CMF by Nothing’s ongoing teaser campaign confirms the Watch Pro 2 will feature an interchangeable bezel system. An image shared by the brand gives us a glimpse of the feature, but it does not provide any details about the mechanism.
There are exposed screws on the CMF Phone 1 and a dial on the bottom right corner that allows users to switch rear panels and add accessories. But there are no exposed anchor points on the Watch Pro 2.
There is a recently leaked image of the watch that shows a black bezel attached, giving the watch a more boxy appearance. There is no external mounting solution shown in the image, however. To keep the interchangeable bezels in place, the watch may rely on magnets.
The Watch Pro 2 will be launched on July 8 by CMF by Nothing, so we should hear about it in the next few days. CMF Phone 1 and Buds Pro 2 will also be unveiled at the event.
