91mobiles has exclusive details on the RAM/storage models and colour options of the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Neo. A successor to the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, which is already available in the country, this will be the company’s next mid-range offering. As part of the Edge 50 series, the handset will join the Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Fusion.
Motorola Edge 50 Neo will be available in two versions: 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, according to tipster Sudhanshu. Among the Motorola Edge 50 Neo’s colour options will be Gray, Blue, Poinciana, and Milk.
Some of these colours will be Pantone-certified, according to Sudhanshu. This is the first time we have heard about the Motorola Edge 50 Neo, so we will keep an eye out for more information.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo:
The new Motorola Edge 40 Neo will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ 10-bit pOLED curved display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
The device is powered by the new Dimensity 1050 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space. It measures 7.8mm thick and weighs 170g.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS. This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.
The device comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support. It runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.
