Motorola will introduce a new Edge 50 series device in India soon, the slimmest MIL-810 military-grade phone worldwide. Now that we know the device will be called Moto Edge 50 Pro, we have our first look at the device in Koala Gray, Jungle Green (vegan leather), and Peach Fuzz (Pantone certified).

Motorola Edge 50:

The new Motorola Edge 50 will sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ 10-bit pOLED curved display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colours & supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The device is powered by the new Dimensity 7300 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage space.

The Motorola Edge 50 will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. Lastly, it comes with a 10MP telephoto lens with LED flash. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.

 

The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS. As for how thin the Edge 50 5G will be to claim its title as the world’s slimmest MIL-810 phone, we’ll have to wait for more leaks to reveal more.

All this is packed with a 4400 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support. The device also supports 15W wireless & 15W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box.
