The HONOR 200 series will be introduced in India next week. Honor has detailed the camera capabilities of the HONOR 200 series ahead of launch, including a partnership with Studio Harcourt, a prestigious Parisian portrait photography studio.
Honor 200 Series Camera specs:
HONOR 200 Pro features a triple back camera setup consisting of a 50MP Portrait Main Camera with Super Dynamic H9000 Sensor, a 50MP Telephoto Camera with Sony IMX 856 Sensor, and a 12MP Ultra Wide and Macro Camera. Despite the most challenging lighting conditions, the dual OIS back cameras capture crisp, clear, and detailed portraits. As for the hardware specs, the Honor 200 also has a 50MP Portrait Main Camera. But it uses a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 large sensor and OIS to enhance image quality.
Also, the HONOR 200 Pro has a dual front camera setup consisting of a 50MP Portrait Selfie Camera with f/2.1 aperture and a second sensor that detects and adjusts colour temperature to suit Indian skin tones. For stellar videos, the HONOR 200 Pro comes with both front and back cameras that support 4K video recording.

HONOR 200 Pro comes with a 50MP Portrait Main Camera, equipped with a 1/1.3-inch Super Dynamic H9000 sensor. This ensures exceptional detail and brightness even in challenging lighting conditions. Additionally, the camera supports 4-in-1 pixel binning technology. This allows for better light absorption, resulting in stunning, well-lit portraits, even in low light.
The HONOR 200 Pro provides clear, detailed photos and smooth video footage thanks to dual stabilization technology. It combines Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). Featuring a 50MP Telephoto Camera with 2.5x optical zoom, the upcoming device will ensure that distant objects are captured with remarkable sharpness and clarity. Additionally, with the 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, users can fit more into their frame without sacrificing quality.
HONOR 200 features a robust camera setup with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX906 Large Sensor with OIS and 4-in-1 pixel binning for excellent low-light performance. As with the PRO model, it comes equipped with the same 50MP Telephoto Camera, which features a Sony IMX856 sensor to ensure sharp and detailed zoomed-in shots.

With its AI-enhanced HONOR AI Portrait Engine, developed in collaboration with Studio Harcourt, the HONOR 200 Series elevates portrait photography. By integrating Harcourt’s renowned lighting and shadow techniques, users can capture studio-level portraits on smartphones. Using millions of light and shadow databases, the engine can evaluate lighting, skin colour, colour temperature, and scene composition to determine optimal exposure.
In addition, the HONOR AI Portrait Engine produces natural bokeh effects with its large sensors and AI Neural Network for Image Processing. For zoom ranges of 1x to 2x, the AI Stereo-based Bokeh Algorithm utilizes the main and ultra-wide lenses, while for zoom ranges of 2.5x, it uses the main and telephoto lenses, enabling precise depth calculation across a range of zooms. Additionally, the HONOR AI Portrait Engine uses AI-powered Portrait Detail Enhancement for skin and facial characters, which ensures realistic hair details and enhanced facial features, resulting in lifelike portraits.
