Skyline is HMD’s most powerful own-branded phone yet. With its design similar to the Nokia N9, Gen 2 repairability allows you to replace a cracked screen or a failing battery in less than 10 minutes.
Design:
The design was heavily influenced by Nokia’s Lumia series. With its boxy design and noticeable bezels, the phone is reminiscent of the design language used by the Lumia Fabula devices.
A rectangular camera module with three lenses and an LED flash is mounted on the back panel. HMD Skyline comes in Neon Pink and Twisted Black colours .
Specs:
HMD Skyline will sport a 6.5″ OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB of storage. Surprisingly the phone comes with a storage expansion option via microSD card slot.
HMD Skyline comes with a 108MP main sensor coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide. There is a new 50MP 2x telephoto camera with 4x zoom support. Within the punch-hole cutout is a 50MP camera for selfies. With its AI Capture Fusion, HMD maximizes the detail in photos taken with it.
Using standard iFixit kits, you can easily replace cracked screens, bent charging ports, or depleted batteries on the Skyline by unscrewing a single screw. Spare parts will also be supplied by iFixit.
Moreover, it will be dust and splash-resistant, with an IP67 rating. The device ships with a 4600 mAh battery with 33W fast charge and 15W wireless charging support.
Quick access to apps and features is provided by a customizable button on the side of the device. Furthermore, it has a Detox Mode, which allows you to limit notifications and access to social networks.
The HMD Skyline will also have an under-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box. Security updates will be provided for 3 years and 2 OS updates.

Pricing:
The HMD Skyline will cost €499/$499/£399 (Rs.41,900/-), but there is no adapter included. On its website, HMD offers a 33W wall charger for £30 or a 30W dual-port adapter for £20.
