The company announced seven new devices yesterday, and it isn’t done with high-end devices yet. South Korean firm Samsung might have thought that its next high-end product would be from the Galaxy S25 series, but it has revealed the Galaxy Tab S10 launch time frame, and it is coming soon.
Samsung hasn’t launched a high-end tablet lineup since the Galaxy S9. According to the South African representative, the Galaxy Tab S10 will launch before the end of the year. A new high-end tablet would be released every 1.5 years, in line with the company’s current schedule.
The Galaxy Tab S9 was launched in August 2023, and the Galaxy Tab S10 is expected to launch in December 2024, one month before the Galaxy S25. Despite reports that its upcoming tablet would be equipped with a MediaTek processor, Samsung hasn’t revealed its features. The US variant of the Galaxy Tab S10+ was spotted with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor a few days later.
According to one report, Samsung is planning to ditch the Galaxy Tab S10 base model. When the Galaxy Tab S10 series launches at the end of 2024, the tablets are likely to run Android 15-based One UI 7.0 out of the box. Samsung may, however, not give its flagship tablets the same 7-year OS update as its high-end phones
