There will be a new mid-range smartphone from Motorola’s popular G series coming to India soon. Moto G85, which was rebranded Moto S50 Neo last week, is now available in India. This device’s release date has been announced as well as some key specs and features.
In teasers posted on its official website and Flipkart, the company announced the July 10 launch date. There were a lot of features confirmed in those teaser posters, including the same as the European Moto G85. This device comes with a 6.67-inch curved pOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1600 nits of peak brightness.
Moto G85:
The new Moto G85 will sport a massive 6.67-inch FHD+ pOLED 10-bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with the latest Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC. It comes with an Octa Core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, and the Adreno 619 GPU. The device is coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space with microSD card support.
The device features a 50MP main sensor coupled with OIS & an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with LED flash. It features a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole display. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with IP52 certification making it water-resistant.
Additionally, the device features a dual-stereo speaker that supports both Dolby Atmos and Moto Spatial Sound, offering improved bass and vocals, as well as improved clarity.
The connectivity options include Dual Band Wifi, 5G, 4G LTE, FM Radio, Dual SIM support, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 5.3. The device packs a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box.
