On July 11, iQOO will unveil the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ smartphone in China. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-equipped phone will compete in the Chinese market with the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro as well as the Realme GT 6. On Weibo today, Vivo’s vice president for brand and general manager of brand and product strategy, Jia Jingdong, confirmed the Neo 9S Pro+’s key specifications.

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, as well as iQOO’s self-developed Q1 graphics chip. Using a specialized algorithm, tasks are intelligently allocated between the Snapdragon and e-sports Q1 chips.

When the system detects a game, it automatically allocates more resources to the e-sports chip to improve performance. Moreover, the two chips are connected via a sophisticated power management strategy, which dynamically adjusts their power consumption in various scenarios.

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ will be powered by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Although the device houses a large battery, it maintains a slim 7.99mm profile. The phone will come preloaded with Android 14 based on OriginOS 4.0.

The iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor as the company’s first sub-flagship phone. The Neo 9S Pro+ is an upgraded version of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, which was announced last December and powered by Dimensity 9300.
