The Pixel 9 series, including the Pixel 9 Pro XL, will be announced by Google next month. With this phone, Google will use both “Pro” and “XL” monikers for the first time. We’re now seeing a short hands-on video of the device from YTechB, who has posted a 29-second clip. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is also compared in size.

You can tell the difference between this and the regular Google Pixel 9 by the size of the camera window on the back. The Pixel 9 has dual cameras, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL has three cameras. Apart from the size, the two are identical. The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a matte finish on the side rails, while the Pixel 9 has a glossy finish.

The next video shows the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL side-by-side with the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 Ultra seems to be about the same size, though it is more squared off than the Pixel. There are a lot more rounded corners on the Pixel than usual. The Pixel 9 Pro XL is perfect for those who like large phones.

Unlike the base model, the Pixel 9 Pro XL also includes ultra-wideband. This has been the case with Pixel devices for years, so nothing new here. The Pixel Watch 3 is rumoured to include ultra-wideband to beef up Google’s Find My Device network.
