Numerous leaks and rumours have circulated about the Pixel 9 series, but 91mobiles acquired this newly leaked promo material from tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks). The marketing images of the Google Pixel 9 series, including Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, showcase the new design, specifications, AI, and other features of the new Pixels.
Design:
The Google Pixel 9 series comes in new colours like dark grey, light grey, off-white, and pink. While the sides are polished or glossy, the back panel is soft matte. On the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the camera island is rectangular with rounded corners. It is oblong on the non-foldable (Pixel 9).
There is a distinct look to these phones due to the new camera island. The back panel appears to have an obvious protrusion. In the Pro models, there could be three lenses, while in the regular Pixel models, there could be two lenses.
There is a punch hole cutout on the front side for the selfie camera. There are also no bezels around the device.
AI Features:
According to Google, these phones are designed for artificial intelligence and engineered by it. A seven-year security update guarantee and Pixel Drops are promised by Google.
With the new Pixels, you can receive Emergency SOS alerts about nearby fires and floods. In addition, it claims to protect users from malware and phishing scams.
With Pixel Screenshots on Pixel phones, you’ll be able to keep track of events, places, and more. When you open Pixel Screenshots later, you can find what you forgot or missed. Similar to Microsoft Recall, it is somewhat watered down.

Although the Google Pixel 9 will have a larger battery than its predecessor – 4,558 mAh & comes with 27W fast wired charging and 18W wireless charging support. It runs on the latest Android 14 OS out of the box.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM, Wifi-7, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2LE, USB Type-C port, NFC, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, 5G with mmWave support.
Pixel 9 Pro Fold:
Pixel 9 Pro Fold external display measures 6.3 inches with a resolution of 2,424 x 1080p (FHD+). It has a 17.4:9 aspect ratio and 408ppi resolution; the Super Actua OLED screen with refresh at 120Hz. With a resolution of 2,152 x 2,076, the internal display measures 8.0 inches. A thin glass layer protected by a plastic layer covers the Super Actua Flex OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Google says the battery offers “beyond 24 hours of life.” So it packs a 4560 mAh battery with 30W fast charge support. It also comes with wireless charging support.
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes with Tensor G4 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage option. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM, Wifi-7, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2LE, USB Type-C port, NFC, Dual SIM with 4G LTE, 5G with mmWave support.
On the back of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, there will be a 48MP primary camera with OIS and an aperture of f/1.7. There will also be an ultra-wide camera with 10.8MP and an aperture of f/2.2. Finally, there will be a 10.8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and 20x Super Res Zoom.
On the external display, there is a 10MP hole-punch camera with a fixed focus and an aperture of f/2.2. The internal display has a 10MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus. The rear camera can record video in 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps.
Another feature that will be announced is the ability to take selfies with the rear camera. You can also remove unwanted people, pets, and things from your photographs using the Magic Eraser. Using artificial intelligence, Photo Unblur fixes blurry old photos, including those taken with another camera. There are also camera-related features on the Pixel Fold, such as Real Tone and Long Exposure.
As a result of the fingerprint sensor being integrated with the side-mounted power button and not under the display like on Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 models, many users will not have to deal with this problem anymore.
