According to a May rumor, Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 will be the thinnest foldable on the market when it launches, likely replacing Honor Magic V3.

A leaked image today shows the Mix Fold 4’s back, with fake leather (we’re not sure if others use glass). It is important to note that this is a work in progress, so some aspects may change before the phone is released.

According to the image, there are four rear cameras, which is the same as its predecessor, however, the arrangement of the camera island is different.

According to the source, the Mix Fold 4 will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and it will be under 10mm thick. There will also be a 50 MP main camera, a water resistance rating of IPx8, and a battery of at least 5,000 mAh.

Previous leaks indicate the main camera will have OIS and a 1/1.55″ sensor size. In addition, there will be a 60 MP 1/2.8″ 2x telephoto, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 10 MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom. According to a recent certification, its battery will support 67W wired charging.

According to previous rumours, Xiaomi would launch the Mix Fold 4 alongside the Mix Flip, its first entry into the foldable market, sometime in the third quarter, which begins July 1 and ends September 30. We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but one specific rumor mentioned a July launch.
