According to prolific industry leakster Digital Chat Station (DCS), a new Realme phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor has leaked.
It is likely the Realme GT 7 Pro, although the tipster did not mention its official name. Since there is no Pro model in the Realme GT 6 series, this phone will be the direct successor to the GT 5 Pro.
According to rumours, the GT 7 Pro will sport a 1.5K resolution display with slightly curved edges. On the back, you’ll find a triple-camera system encased in a square-shaped camera module.
This device is rumoured to have a 50MP multi-focal sensor and an additional 3x periscope telephoto lens equipped with a Sony IMX882 sensor. The tipster also revealed that the phone may not support telephoto macros.
According to the tipster, the battery will be around 6000mAh, not “less than 5800mAh,” and 100-watt fast charging will be supported. It will be the first Realme phone equipped with an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security.
According to the tipster, the phone will also be dust and water-resistant according to IP68 and IP69 ratings, meaning that it will survive splashes, spills, and brief submersion in water. In addition to these details, the tipster didn’t reveal much else about the Realme GT 7 Pro. Wireless charging is yet to be confirmed.
An official from the company has already confirmed the GT 7 Pro will launch in India. Globally, it could be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phone. It is expected to launch in the last quarter of this year.
