In October of this year, MediaTek will unveil its next-generation flagship chip, Dimensity 9400. Vivo may unveil its Vivo X200 series smartphones equipped with the D9400 in the same month. Details about the X200 series are gradually being revealed by Tipster Digital Chat Station. DCS revealed a few key details about what appears to be the X200 Pro in a Weibo post today.
According to DCS’ leak, the Vivo X200 Pro will feature significant upgrades and new technologies over last year’s Vivo X100 Pro. The Vivo X200 Pro flagship has an impressive display featuring 1.5K resolution, uniformly narrow bezels, and a slightly curved screen. According to DCS, the screen size could be 6.7 or 6.8 inches.
The X200 Pro also features a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a new silicon battery configuration. The battery capacity on the Vivo X100 Pro is 5,400mAh. We will have to wait and see if the successor model comes with a 6,000mAh battery.
According to DCS, it will feature a triple-camera system with a periscope lens for enhanced imaging. On its back, it could have three 50-megapixel cameras.
Vivo X200 Pro and X200 will be powered by the 3nm Dimensity 9400 chipset. In China between October and December, the new chip is expected to deliver superior performance while consuming less power.
