Samsung is working on two affordable Galaxy smartphones, according to reports earlier this month. The Galaxy A06 has been spotted on the IMEI certification website. With the model number SM-A065F appearing on Geekbench and WiFi Alliance certification, the device has now reached the benchmarking stage.
Geekbench lists the Samsung Galaxy A06 as having the ARM MT6769V/CZ motherboard. With a base frequency of 1.80GHz, it has eight cores. MediaTek Helio G85 is expected to power the device. It should be noted that this is the same chipset that powers the Galaxy A05. According to the database listing, the device will come with 6GB of RAM and there will be more options at launch. Out of the box, the smartphone will run Android 14.
Geekbench scores the Samsung Galaxy A06 1,664 points for single-core and 5,326 points for multi-core. According to WiFi Alliance certification, the device will support dual-band WiFi 5. Those are all the details we know about the smartphone. It will not be long before more details about the Galaxy A06 emerge.
