Samsung will announce the Galaxy Watch 7 series next month, which includes two sizes and an all-new Galaxy Watch Ultra. Here are all the specs for both watches.
Galaxy Watch7:
As with the Galaxy Watch6, the Galaxy Watch7 will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes. Green and cream will be the colors available. Using Armor Aluminum 2 and Sapphire Crystal for the display, this device will be lightweight and durable. Apple only does that with its most expensive watches.
With the Galaxy Watch7, you can also expect the same level of durability, which is 5ATM and IP68 with MIL-STD-810H certification. Also, the battery capacity will remain the same for both models, with the 40mm model having a 300mAh battery, and the 44mm model having a 425mAh battery.
A new chipset is likely to be the biggest improvement on the Galaxy Watch7. The Galaxy Watch7 will be powered by Exynos W1000 which is based on the 3nm process. Samsung doubled it this year to 32GB. Last but not least, peak brightness has not reached 2,000 nits.
Galaxy Watch7 Ultra:
Samsung released a “Pro” version of its Galaxy Watch in 2022. During the launch of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, everyone thought Apple would name its new big watch “Pro” instead of “Ultra”. As a result of the watch’s renaming and upgrades, it’s apparent who Samsung is marketing this watch towards.
Similarly to the Apple Watch Ultra, the Galaxy Watch7 Ultra has a 47mm case and is made of titanium. These include Titanium Gray, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Beige. With 10ATM and IP58 protection, as well as MIL-STD-810H certification, durability is better than the regular Galaxy Watch 7. It has a slightly larger case than the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, but it has the same battery capacity – 590mAh.
With 32GB of storage, Samsung also uses a 3nm processor. But here, the peak brightness will hit 3,000 nits. As a final note, the Galaxy Watch Ultra will only be available with LTE and Bluetooth. Adding a carrier will raise the price, but you don’t have to.
The Galaxy Watch7 Ultra will be a bit pricier than the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. There is no pricing yet, but we expect it to be similar to the Galaxy Watch 6.
