There are no major changes to the main and front cameras on the Samsung Galaxy S25. As we recently learned, this is the case. While Samsung will not launch the Galaxy S25 series until early 2025, details are already beginning to emerge. As we reported last week, the Galaxy S24’s basic model retains the same battery capacity. We can now also reveal the first few specifications of the camera.

Once again, the Galaxy S25 has a 50-megapixel main camera – not the ‘Ultra’ model. After the S22, S23, and S24, this will be the fourth generation with such a resolution.

Also unchanged is the resolution of the front camera. As with the S23 and S24, this uses a 12 MP sensor. Both the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ fall under this category.

We can expect exciting things from the Galaxy S25’s camera in 2025 because of the ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses. At this point, we cannot confirm anything definitively.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 200MP main camera and 50MP ultrawide, 50MP 3x telephoto and 50MP 5x telephoto lenses. Until more solid proof arrives, we suggest you take this information with a healthy dose of skepticism.
