Redmi recently announced that 4 million units of its Redmi 12 5G smartphone have already been sold in India. We are now looking forward to the launch of its successor, the Redmi 13 5G.
Redmi 13 5G will launch in India on July 9, 2024, at 12 noon, according to a microsite on Amazon. The design and specifications of this upcoming device have also been revealed by Redmi.
In terms of design, the device follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, featuring a flat back and flat edges. The back of the device has three protrusions, as did its predecessor. Two of them contain camera sensors, while the third holds a ring light. With a glass back finish, the device comes in two colors: Light Blue and Light Pink.
With regards to specifications, the Redmi 13 5G features the same Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor as its predecessor. Featuring a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display and being the biggest 5G smartphone in its segment, the device also claims to have the largest display in its class. The device will feature a 108MP main camera along with a depth sensor. Additionally, it will have a 5,030mAh battery and a 33W fast charger. Finally, the teaser confirms that HyperOS will be available right out of the box.
