For the Chinese market, Realme is working on a series of smartphones called the Realme GT7. It is expected that the brand will announce a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered smartphone in July. According to recent reports, its name may change to Realme GT7 from the Realme GT6. By the end of this year, Realme plans to launch the Realme GT 7 Pro in India.
Months before the Pro variant is officially announced, tipster Digital Chat Station posted the key specifications on Weibo.
According to DCS‘ Weibo post, the Realme GT7 Pro will feature an OLED 8T LTPO screen with a 1.5K resolution. This will be a customized display panel supplied by a domestic manufacturer.
The Realme GT7 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage. The leaker didn’t disclose the device’s battery size, but asserted it possesses a silicon-anode battery, which has a high energy density and is fast-charging compared to lithium-ion batteries. The GT5 Pro packed a 5,400mAh battery, so we can expect the GT7 Pro to pack a 6,000mAh battery.
According to the leak, the Realme GT7 Pro will also feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. There were no details shared about the other cameras on the device by the leaker.
