Realme has finally announced the new flagship under the GT series with the new Realme GT6 in India. After a month-long of wait the smartphone is officially launched in India and Global regions. The Realme GT 6 is another rebranded device with some minor camera upgrade.
Realme GT 6:
The new Realme GT 6 will sport massive 6.78 inches 1.5K(2780 x 1264p) AMOLED 8T LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on top with HDR10+ support. This 6000-nit peak brightness is likely reserved for HDR content or specific scenarios. For everyday use, the phone has a manual maximum brightness of 1000 nits and a global maximum brightness of 1600 nits.
The Realme GT 6 will be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It is coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage. For efficient thermal management, Realme has integrated a large 10014mm2 heat dissipation system with an ice-sealed mid-frame structure.
It comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. On the back, the Realme GT 6 will ship with dual-rear cameras with a 50MP main Sony LYT-808 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, Super OIS, and an 8MP 112° ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 50MP telephoto lens with LED flash. It comes with a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
All this is backed by a 5500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Battery life is extended with the SUPERVOOC S power management chip. It runs on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 on top.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, in-display fingerprint scanner, Wifi 6e, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification. It is also IP65 certified making dust and water-resistant.
AI Features:
There will be AI Night Vision, AI Smart Removal, and AI Smart Loop features in the Realme GT 6. In a dark environment, AI Night Vision will capture clear video. With the help of advanced night video algorithms, the company claims to have achieved this.
Users will be able to remove unwanted people and objects from their photos using the AI Smart Removal feature. In order to remove an object or person, users will have to select them manually. Post-removal of objects, Realme claims that the background is seamlessly filled in without leaving any traces.
With Realme GT 6’s AI Smart Loop feature, you can share content quickly to third-party apps. In order to use this feature, users must select and drag content such as text, photos, and more.

Realme GT 6 with 8GB+256GB costs Rs.40,999/-, 12GB+256GB at Rs.42,999/- whereas the 16GB+512GB at Rs.44,999/- in India.
