Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 mobile processor. It is a 5G-enabled processor fabricated on the 6nm process. Mid-range smartphones will be powered by it.

Featuring a 64-bit architecture and a Kryo core with a peak frequency of 2.3 GHz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 uses a 64-bit architecture. The device also features an AI engine, which enables AI-driven camera features, voice recognition, and other features. Qualcomm Sensing Hub ensures security through the AI Engine.

It supports 120Hz Full HD+ display panels. Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 is equipped with Qualcomm’s X51 5G modem, enabling speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps. FastConnect 6200 technology from Qualcomm is built into the device, and it supports wireless 802.11 a/ac networks. Qualcomm’s proprietary TrueWireless technology supports Bluetooth 5.2 on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3.

Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 features Qualcomm’s Spectra triple ISP, which supports multi-camera photos and videos as well as AI-enhanced low-light photography. With the latest processor, you can record 720p video at 120 frames per second with up to 108MP cameras.

Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 devices will feature LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Up to Quick Charge 4+ is supported by the processor. As well as QZSS, Galileo, Beidou, GLONASS, NavIC, and GPS.

Moto G85 5G might be the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 smartphone.
