Oppo announced the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro for the Chinese market last month. Earlier this month, the brand confirmed that both phones would be available globally. However, global variants are likely to have different specs than their Chinese counterparts.
Oppo Reno12:
The new Oppo Reno12 will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with Gorilla Glass protection on top. The Oppo Reno12 is the first device that will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage option.
The Oppo Reno12 will feature triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide camera & 2MP depth sensor. It comes with a 50MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. It will also feature dual speakers and an X-linear motor. The device runs on Android 14 OS with ColorOS 14 on top.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, 5G (Dual Band support) and VoLTE, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, FM Radio, and USB Type-C port. It features in-display fingerprint scanner support. It measures 7.62mm thick and weighs 184g.
Oppo Reno12 Pro:
The Oppo Reno12 Pro will have a cheaper build with a plastic frame & glass back. The device measures 8.26 mm thick & weighs 190g.

The Oppo Reno12 Pro will feature dual rear cameras with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor coupled with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide IMX355 sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. It also comes with a 2MP depth sensor. The Oppo Reno12 Pro features a 50MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
