The upcoming Oppo Find X8 series smartphones are expected to have different camera configurations, according to tipster Digital Chat Station. Both the standard Find X8 and the higher-end Find X8 Pro feature the same camera system.
According to the tipster, the Find X8 will feature a triple-camera system with one periscope telephoto lens. The main sensor will be a 50MP 1/1.4-inch sensor. There is no information on the other two cameras.
There will be four cameras with two periscope telephoto lenses in the so-called “big cup”, which is likely to be the Find X8 Pro. As with the standard model, the Find X8 Pro also features a 50MP main sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size. It uses the same Sony LYT-808 sensor as the Find X7, according to reports.
According to the leak, the new periscope module uses the Sony IMX882 (also called LYT600) sensor, which measures 1/1.953 inches.
The Oppo Find X8 is also expected to feature the Dimensity 9400 processor and 1.5K resolution flat display, according to previous reports. It is expected that the battery will range between 5100mAh and 5500mAh. On the other hand, the Pro model is rumored to feature a 2.7D curved display. Both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will feature a glass back and should arrive in October.
