In December last year, the iQOO 12 launched, and its successor is already in development. According to reports, the iQOO 13 will feature a 1.5K resolution flat OLED 8T LTPO display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
The tipster Digital Chat Station reiterated these specs today, and also shared some new details about the line’s Pro model.
According to the tipster, the iQOO 13 will support 100W charging to power its “large battery.” There was no mention of the battery size, but OnePlus 13 and Oppo Find X8 are rumored to include 6000mAh batteries this year.
Since iQOO 13 will be a head-to-head competitor with these phones, its battery capacity should be similar. There is a previous report that the phone will have a 6000mAh battery, but it mentions 120W charging, which contradicts the latest leak.
With the iQOO 13 Pro, you’ll get the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, but a quad-curved screen with a higher resolution of 2K.
Its release, however, is uncertain. As of now, Digital Chat Station has not confirmed the availability of the Pro model, which casts some doubt on its release this year.
Those are the details based on the new leak, but the situation may change as a lot of time remains before the launch of the iQOO 13 series. The tipster’s latest report indicates that the Pro model is indeed in the works; it isn’t dead yet.
