Rumors have slowly been leaking about the iQOO 13 series of smartphones. The lineup should include two phones, including the iQOO 13 and 13 Pro, both powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. A Weibo post last week claimed the Pro variant might not exist, according to tipster Digital Chat Station. Today’s Weibo post indicates that DCS may not release the Pro variant.
iQOO’s upcoming flagship phone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, as can be seen above. Most likely, the tipster is referring to the standard IQOO 13.
According to previous leaks, the iQOO 13’s screen will support 1.5K resolution, whereas the 13 Pro’s display will support 2K resolution. According to the new leak, the iQOO 13 will have an IP68-rated chassis. It will also feature a flat OLED panel with a resolution of 2K. As well as a fingerprint scanner, the screen will feature ultrasonic technology.
He replied that if the above specifications are implemented, then the Pro model would definitely disappear, i.e. it will be axed. In the past, iQOO Pro models like the 12 Pro, 11 Pro, and 10 Pro have only been available in China. As for the 13 Pro, it seems it will not even be available in China.
In addition, previous reports have indicated that the iQOO 13 may have up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. There may be a 6,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. iQOO 13 could launch in November.
