Several leaks have revealed details about the specifications of the Google Pixel 9 series as its launch date approaches. Benchmark listings are featured in the latest leak regarding the vanilla Pixel 9. Geekbench 6 showed the device with its official name. It is powered by Tensor G4 as expected.
According to the benchmark, it achieved a single-core score of 1653 and a multi-core score of 3313. They are lower than competitors like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and show a slight decline from the Pixel 8’s performance with Tensor G3.
In spite of this, benchmark scores may vary due to different testing conditions or lack of proper optimization, so these numbers may not fully reflect Pixel 9’s performance.
The leak confirms previous information about the Tensor G4’s core configuration. The Pixel 9 has a 3.1 GHz prime core, three 2.6 GHz cores, and four 1.95 GHz cores. The listing confirms 8GB of RAM, in line with rumors, and the familiar Mali-G715 GPU from the Pixel 8.
There is a similar camera cutout on all three devices according to leaked images. The Pixel 9 has a dual-camera setup, while the 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL have triple cameras.
As more details emerge about the Pixel 9 series, we’ll keep you posted.
