It is expected that Google will launch its Pixel 9 series sometime in October. According to rumors, Google Pixel 9 will be available in three models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Geekbench has spotted the upcoming Google Pixel 9 Pro XL on the database. The Pixel 9 Pro XL moniker has never been revealed via a certification or benchmark listing before.

Geekbench 5.5.1 gave the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL 1378 and 3732 points in the single-core and multi-core tests. Geekbench showed 16GB of RAM and Android 14 on the upcoming smartphone.

According to the listing, the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has an octa-core processor, a komodo motherboard, a sched_pixel governor, and a Mali G715 GPU. It has a prime core (3.1GHz), three performance cores (2.6GHz), and four performance cores (1.95GHz). Google hasn’t yet unveiled its Tensor 4 chip, but this is likely it.

In the Pixel 9 Pro (codenamed “Caiman”), 16GB of RAM could be combined with 128GB of storage. In terms of display size, it comes in at 6.34 inches, slightly larger than the base model.

Taking a look at the Pixel 9 Pro XL (codenamed “Komodo”), it will measure 6.73 inches, which isn’t that much bigger than its siblings. The starting storage could be 128GB with 16GB of RAM.

Each of these models comes with 50-megapixel main cameras, 120Hz displays, Android 15 out of the box, and the Google Tensor G4. It is still unclear when Google will announce these phones, but we expect them to launch in October.
