The model number of the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro is “ASUSAI2501C”. The devices will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It is no surprise that ASUS has begun preparing the ROG Phone 9 series because many device manufacturers are developing Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 devices.
Additionally, they will feature ASUS’ own cooling system. Even during long gaming sessions, this cooling system will prevent overheating. These devices also feature AirTriggers, which enhance mobile gaming experiences.
RGB LED lighting will also be present in the background. With this RGB LED lighting, users will be able to express their style and enhance the visual appeal of the device.
Both devices are set to debut in 2025. It is not yet clear when the release will take place. In Q1 2025, these devices are expected to become officially available.
