Apple is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its smartwatches this year. An early leak gives us a glimpse into the future of Apple’s wearable technology with the Apple Watch Series 10, aka Apple Watch X. According to 91Mobiles, the watch could look like this.
This publication shared images showing the Apple Watch X looking exactly like its predecessor. The overall design and button placement, including the Digital Crown, remain unchanged. There was no mention of a radical redesign in rumours. Some of the previous claims have also been contradicted by the latest leak.
According to the leaked CAD renders, the Apple Watch X will feature a 2-inch display, the largest screen on an Apple smartwatch. With the 45mm Watch Series 9, you get a 1.9-inch screen, whereas the 49mm Watch Ultra 2 has a 1.93-inch display. Although the upcoming model has a bigger screen, it is smaller than the Ultra.
The new report states that it measures 46 x 39.7 x 11.6mm. Apple Watch X will be taller, wider, and thicker than the 2023 model, which isn’t what we expected. According to credible sources, the next-generation model will be thinner.
Furthermore, rumours indicate that the sliding mechanism will be replaced by a magnetic band attachment system. There’s nothing like that in the leaked renders. According to previous reports, the larger Apple Watch X will measure 49mm tall, while the smaller one will measure 45mm. No mention was made of a 46mm version.
