Xiaomi 15 series is likely to be the first flagship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster, has shared some information about the camera system of the Xiaomi 15 Pro.
With the upcoming Pro flagship, the flash module might not be housed within the camera island, as is the case with the current Xiaomi flagship. The tipster claims the flash module will be placed outside the camera module. For the upcoming flagship, it may indicate even larger sensors.
It is likely that the Samsung JN1 sensor will be replaced by a slightly bigger one in the Xiaomi 15 Pro. The camera module will reportedly remain the same shape and placement. If the sensor is larger, however, the camera island may protrude more.
Xiaomi 15 Pro prototypes suggest the telephoto will adopt periscope technology like the Ultra flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra. According to reports, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will also feature a 2K micro-curved screen similar to that of the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The Xiaomi 15 series is expected to launch soon after the new chip is released. It is possible that the Snapdragon Summit will take place in October 2024.
