Vivo X100 Ultra stole the spotlight with its 200MP periscope, but vanilla and Pro X100s also received mid-season updates. In addition to the “s” tags in their names, the new models feature Dimensity 9300+ chipsets.
In an interesting development, both S-phones have an IP69 rating, with 9 standing for resistance to powerful water jets. Submersion in water is also rated IPX8.
Vivo X100s:
The new Vivo X100s will sport a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260p. It comes with a 120Hz refresh and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The device is powered by the latest Dimensity 9300+ SoC coupled with 16GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage options.
The new Vivo X100s features a new 50MP main 1/ 1.49″ IMX920 VCS bionic with an aperture of f/1.57 coupled with a 64MP telephoto sensor with f/2.57 aperture that gets 3x optical zoom & 100x digital zoom support. Lastly, there is a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture with telephoto macro and LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter. It features Vivo V2 ISP support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, NAVIC, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C port. The Vivo X100s series does feature an in-display fingerprint scanner & IR Blaster.
