Several new smartphones are expected to launch in the home market once the holidays end. Next week, Vivo may start teasing the Vivo X100 Ultra and Vivo X100s in the country. Vivo’s Product Manager Han Boxiao released a Weibo post to build hype around the Vivo X100 Ultra.
Weibo user Boxiao hinted at significant improvements over the Vivo X100 Pro when it comes to telephoto resolution and low-light photography capabilities. Vivo X100 Ultra’s official poster recently appeared on the microblogging platform, revealing that it will have three cameras in a round module.
The camera setup should include a 50MP Sony LYT-900 with optical image stabilization. Both the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Oppo Find X7 Ultra have the same main camera.
X100 Ultra will feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The cameras may include 200MP periscope telephoto cameras with 4.3x optical zoom and 200x digital zoom. Vivo’s Vice President for the Product, Huang Tao, praised the X100 Ultra in April for being a professional camera and phone at the same time.
Vivo X100 Ultra will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED E7 display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage with 80W fast charging support.
