According to reports, Oppo is working on the Find X8 series of smartphones for China. Over the past few years, the company has launched two Find X-branded phones annually in the home market. There may be three models in the X8 series, according to a new report.
According to publication MyDrivers, which cites reliable leaker Digital Chat Station as its source, the Find X8 series will include three versions: standard, pro, and ultra. The lineup may consist of the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Ultra.
Three models were introduced by Oppo in 2022: the Find X5, the Find X5 Pro Dimensity, and the Find X5 Pro. There were only two models launched by the brand in 2023, the Find X6 and the Find X6 Pro. With no intermediate model, the brand launched the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra in January.
Find X8 Pro might launch alongside Find X8 standard this time around. In October, both models may be revealed. In Q1 2025, the Find X8 Ultra may compete against other “Ultra”-branded flagship phones.
The standard Find X8 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400. It is unclear whether the Pro version will come with the Dimensity 9400 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. They are both manufactured by TSMC on a 3nm process. Oppo is launching its first flagship phone based on a 3nm chip with the Find X8 series. It is most likely that the Find X8 Ultra will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
According to Oppo’s Find series product manager, Zhou Yibao, the Find X8 excels in all aspects, including photography, performance, battery capacity, battery life, and slim and lightweight design.
