In August last year, the Moto G84 was released. Exclusive images of the upcoming Moto G85 have emerged, promising to shake up the mid-range market with its sleek design and powerful features.
Renders show a curved-edge display with thin top and bottom bezels on the Moto G85. On the G85’s back, a dual-camera setup is mounted on a camera bump with a unibody style. The camera bump also says 50MP + OIS, which confirms that it will have a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization.
The Geekbench listing for the Moto G85 shows an octa-core Malmo processor, codenamed Malmo. There are two performance cores clocked at 2.30GHz, six efficiency cores clocked at 2.02GHz, and an Adreno 619 GPU. It appears to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 processor that has not been announced.
In both the Snapdragon 695 and Snapdragon 480, the Adreno 619 GPU is present. While the Snapdragon 695 has a peak frequency of 2.2GHz, the Snapdragon 480 has a peak frequency of 2.0GHz. This new configuration suggests that it could be the successor to Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2.
The device was also spotted on a European retailer’s website, indicating a 12GB + 256GB configuration. The retailer’s listing indicates a price of €300 (Rs.27,100/-) for the handset.
