Motorola announced the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, Moto Edge 50 Ultra, and Moto Edge 50 Pro last month. In India, Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is now set to launch.
A teaser for an upcoming smartphone launch has been released by Motorola India. In the teaser video, the company shows off a handset with a curved display, dual rear cameras, and a 50MP OIS camera. The Moto Edge 50 Fusion is Motorola’s upcoming handset in India.
The new Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will land in India on April 16 at 12 PM IST and will be exclusive on Flipkart. Further, the listing on Flipkart revealed the entire specs sheet of the device. Its now confirmed that Motorola will be launching the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC variant of the new Motorola Edge 50 Fusion in India.

The new Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ 10-bit pOLED curved display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The device is powered by the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage space.
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ LYT-700C sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. In addition, moto AI can adjust shutter speed in the camera app, handle autofocus tracking, and optimize highlights, shadows and colors.
The connectivity options include Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS. This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant. It also includes in-display fingerprint scanner.
All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box. Color options include Forest Blue, Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue colors.
