In India, POCO will launch POCO F6, the company’s next top-end F series phone, on May 23rd. As the teaser shows, the phone has a back that looks exactly like the Redmi Turbo 3, which was unveiled in China last month. POCO F6 will replace POCO F5 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart in India. In the country, the upcoming F-series smartphone is expected to cost around Rs 30,000.
In addition to the 50MP OIS camera, the POCO F6 will come in a gold colour option with dual-rear cameras. POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro will be announced on the same day by the company’s global arm.
The launch event for the POCO F6 series will take place on May 23rd starting at 3PM in Dubai (4:30 PM in India). Streaming will be available on both global and Indian channels as usual.
POCO F6 Pro:
The POCO F6 Pro 5G sports the new 12-bit OLED 6.67 inches 2K display with 120Hz refresh rates. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top and HDR 10+ support. POCO F6 Pro is powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage version.
The new POCO F6 Pro 5G features triple-rear cameras with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor, with an aperture of f/1.89, OIS+EIS support, an 8MP 120-degree Ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2, & 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, 1.75μm with LED flash. It comes with a 4K video recording at 30fps and 1080p at 960fps. The Redmi K70 5G comes with a single selfie camera with a 16MP sensor.
The new POCO F6 Pro will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner along with an IR blaster. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, 5G, Wifi 6e, Dual Frequency GPS, GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio, USB Type-C port, & Bluetooth 5.4 support. The POCO F6 Pro also features a 1217 Linear Speaker along with Smart PA & Dolby Atmos support.
The POCO F6 Pro 5G packs a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The new POCO F6 Pro runs on Android 14 with HyperOS on top.
